Review of Enemy Mine (1985) by Hugh S — 26 Jun 2010
A film that was highly recommended to me; yet didn't deliver. I thought the premise was brilliant, and the Special Effects were admirable. The same can be said for the set design. The film was lacking in many aspects though.
First, the acting was awful, especially from the Human lead. While the premise was brilliant, the film was executed poorly and became highly predictable. The villains were 2-Dimensional, and the only character that I found interesting was Jeriba.
The climax sucked, and script was terrible.
