Review of Enemy Mine (1985) by Jake D — 29 Aug 2010
A cheesy sci fi action thriller. Where two enemies become the best of friends. Dennis Quaid, and Louis Gosset jr are on two different sides, and are two different species, but become friends when they both crash land on a deserted planet. With only each other to watch there backs survival seems impossible because of the hatred these two share for each other at first, but as I said they become friends and when Gosset jr dies during child birth, yeah I said it, the males of his species are the ones who give birth, anyways when he dies in childbirth Quaid is left to raise the kid. The kid eventually gets kidnapped right about the time Quaid gets rescued, but Quaid escapes, and goes back in for his "nephew". He stops the kidnappers, and saves the day.
Ok first of all the movie is actually better than how I described it. I was just feeling a little lazy. Not a bad movie, but there are way better ones out there.
