Review of Enemy at the Gates (2001) by Mariano C — 16 Jan 2009
Movies about war always capture my attention and usually are favorites in my book..
Of course this one doesn't compare to the greats like Saving Private Ryan for example but still it's to be considered with the good ones..
For one thing, the idea of the rivalry between the two snipers was really good.. Maybe the accents should have been concentrated on more, still.. not bad.
And Jude Law's performance, I really thought he wasn't the right choice for the role at the beginning but I was pleasantly surprised..
Ed Harris as usual manages to steal his scenes.. he is truly amazing..
