Review of Enemy at the Gates (2001) by Siddharth K — 19 Sep 2009
The heroic tale of three British fashion models who fought in the Russian army during the battle of Stalingrad. One of whom gets into a deadly game of cat and mouse with an American posing as a German sniper...which is interesting since most people in the battle were running around beating each other with garden hoes and throwing feces.
Hollywood could have killed two birds with one stone if they had just let Billy Zane or Tom Beringer have Jude Law's part. "SNIPER 5: Back in Time, Bitch.".
Also, I wish there had been an epilogue that showed Stalin inevitably sending Vassili off to Siberia for his heroic actions.
