Review of Enemy at the Gates (2001) by Al W — 09 Nov 2010
Ansniper thriller set amidst the ruins of Stalingrad in 1942. What is a great match of wills and intuition between Jude Law's Vasili Zaitsev and Ed Harris' Major Konig is unfortunately interspersed by Joseph Fiennes' and Rachel Weisz's (especially her atrociously poor chemistry with Jude Law) destructive acting ability, thoroughly deflating and ruining any "thrilling" continuity.
Skip unless you are a WW2 movie buff.
