Review of Enemy at the Gates (2001) by Andrei C — 23 May 2013
While very impressive visually some character development would have been nice (apart from the shallow love story and the 'oh shi... 10 minutes of film left! quick, we need to add a moral in there!' ending).
Plenty of shooting and explosions though for the war movie fan and the fact that it's the story of a russian soldier rather than an allied one is a breath of fresh air in itself.
