Review of Enemy at the Gates (2001) by Carlos R — 12 Sep 2010
As a matter of historical accuracy, this film is suspect, if not downright inaccurate. However, as a matter of entertainment, this film to an extent actually worked. It has a grand scope while still managing to sufficiently get into the lives of the featured characters.
As with many films set in a non-English setting, there is the (initial) incongruity of the dialogue in English.
