Despite the reviews we thought this was a well acted, nice love story and well worth seeing. We think the critics must be rating everything against Oscar nominees and seem unable to recognize a feel good movie when they see it.
Gabrielle is a beautiful girl and Alex a very convincing honest suitor opposite Bruce Greenwood's character. Critics, get a life.
