Review of Endless Love (1981) by Lainie W — 25 Jan 2008
This movie was considered to be a flop, but it's a favorite of mine. I am going to read the book because I've heard that there's more to the story as well as the characters than what's in this movie.
The story is more about obsession that is mistaken for real love and the damage it creates. Some of the speaking is inaudible and I didn't like the director's use of blue-coloring in a couple of scenes.
I thought the casting was better than the filming (even though "David" wasn't supposed to be as handsome as he is in the film. I also think it could be a good remake if done properly. I have my own copy and I still watch it.
