Review of Endless Love (1981) by Emily B — 15 Dec 2010
The quick -face interveners in the movie ENDLESS LOVE are worth mentioning... the feathery stalk, when Martin Hewitt climbs the stairs, the smoke that dissipates in front of a fresh looking Brooke Shields, the trunk that cuts totally Brooke Shields from view in the last part.
.. these are seconds of wanting of hoping to be mixed as soon with the emotions these actors exude by the starving audiences ...besides the story is characteristic of a young first love peppered with flawless ignorance and beauty .
.. as if it is the first time that such emotions are felt that way by two very special people... what a liberal life.. what a liberal way to set the feelings straight...and love is just always at the center in this give and take situation (by the family).
.. this makes this movie a very important melodramatic love story of all times: The "loose strings" of living.
