I read the director left the film to be mostly improvised by his actors and that in my opinion was a serious mistake and this is because none of the characters are interesting.

Not even a little interesting so that you care to know what will become of them and the rest of their story and that pretty much breaks any film.

Without a doubt the director got three recognized actors to attract audiences but frankly this was an incredibly boring film.
