I really thought this would be an average movie based on the trailer and other material I saw leading up to it. I figured "cheesy sci-fi." Boy was I wrong. The plot was engrossing and keep me engaged the entire time.
Yes, there is an element of unbelievability of kids preparing for war. It's that sense that lends a little bit of "Hunger Games" to this movie along with elements of "Starship Troopers" and "Prometheus.
" I certainly hope they make more "Ender's" movies!
