It was good. Great acting, cast, writing, visuals, all excellent. A few plot holes, and some familiar plot devices, but it was all okay.

But my thoughts lean more toward the principles and morals of the people who did not like this film. In fact, I'm extremely disappointed that this movie did not earn enough money to warrant a sequel: it was boycotted. Why? Because the author of the book on which the film is based...is a Mormon, and is openly against homosexuality. Therefore he should not be allowed to live off his work because of his views, according to gays and their sympathizers. Wow. Talk about scum of the earth.

You didn't see Christians and Mormons boycotting the Batman movies directed by Joel Schumacher (because he was gay)...so why are you, the gays, picking on Mormons? And to fortify my argument even further: there was no indication or subliminal messages about hatred for homosexuality in the actual film-or any major political agenda for that matter. So thanks, gays. I will now never have the chance or pleasure of seeing the rest of this franchise put to screen-and it ended on a cliff hanger. Die. "Well just read the books!" Oh, right...if THOSE haven't been boycotted too, I suppose.

And what's next? The works of C.S. Lewis? And why not just start burning Bibles and other religious works! "Paradise Lost? Fuck it! The author was a Christian. Christians disagree with homosexuality. Burn it." "Man Of Steel? Boycott it: it had Christian symbolism in it: Christians hate gay people." Gays: your sense of logic is clouded by your belief that ALL Christian and/or religious works are riddled with hatred for homosexuals; meanwhile, we can release movies about Harvey Milk, the first openly gay politician. Nobody boycotted that, I believe. So, gays, FUCK OFF! You have your rite of passage in this country. Stuff fucking with my movies!

So nice job, gays: instead of trying to fit in or integrating with society like normal human beings, you've made me hate you even more.
