As a fan of the book, I guess I was just expecting a little more. I mean, it was close to the book but I felt they could have taken this somewhere else and made it really great. The acting by Harrison Ford, Asa Butterfield, Ben Kingsley and Viola Davis are all good, the script is decent, the directing is solid for the most part, and the visuals are really cool.
I guess I just wanted a little more. It was entertaining and fun, but it could have been better.
