I thought the beginning of the movie was rather confusing I think that's because I didn't read book first; however, the movie really got my full attention after the scene with Bonzo in the bathroom and Ender's meeting with his sister at the lake.

I wasn't surprised at all by the revelation at the end of the movie because that's just typical twist most movies would have but I still found it the coolest ever must because I'm just a typical human being.

Anyway, after watching this movies for at least ten times and read the book twice, I think it's a very good adaption of the book. There are a couple things I wish I could see in the movie such as Ender's self destructing behavior while he was in Command School, especially the part when he was so tormented by his dreams he stopped eating and bit himself in his sleep and the part when Alai came to check on Ender after the final battle and Ender thought someone was trying to kill him so he decided to kill that person first.

Then when asked how he was feeling he said he's okay because he decided that it's still better to be alive than dead. I thought those were just powerful scenes that would really show us Ender's true nature.

However, I'm so glad that the movie skip all the part with Locke and Demosthenes, I must say those are the parts I dread reading the most in the book. I really don't care what's going with Peter and Valentine on earth, what they did was ridiculous and unrealistic anyway, I just want to know what's going with Ender.

I also like the ending of the movie because it showed at Ender went willingly to look for a home for the Formic and that he could go home once his mission is over. I hate OSC ending for Ender and I hate Valentine for exiling her little brother forever.

Ender deserves to go home after everything he went through, even if his return would cause WW 13, he still should have gone back home on Earth so he could fight for his own peace and freedom. That would have made a great sequel for the movie as well.

Last but not least, Asa Butterfield really did a great job in this movie, he's the perfect Ender. He's so cute looking at the beginning in shuttle when he was looking Graff floating I just wanted to pinch his cheeks.

Then came his powerful speech as a grown up when he yelled at Graff saying "you lied". That was top grade performance right there, even better than Harry Potter in my opinion. I really hope they would make a sequel movie with Ender coming back to earth.
