Review of Ender's Game (2013) by Stephen S — 19 Oct 2014
Flashy.Showy. That's it. The movie shows little to no character development. It doesn't show the bond that Andrew Wiggin forms with all the different members of his team. It doesn't show the momentous triangular relationship that Valentine, Andrew, and Peter share and how it develops through the book into something terrifying and exhilarating simultaneously.
It leaves no room to expand to the next movies that could very easily follow. I personally would not recommend this movie to absolutely anyone unless they were looking for something to act as an example of what not to do when doing a book to movie adaptation.
