Review of Ender's Game (2013) by Franky N — 11 May 2015
This movie has all the ingredients to be an epic failure: a paper-thin plot, week dialog, and unlikeable characters. My 11yr boy did like the parts when the kids flew around the room playing a space-age of version laser tag. But, ask him what he thought of the movie as a whole and he'll tell you, "It was kind of boring". That pretty much sums up the movie in one word "boring.".
(P.S. I don't know if the esoteric left-leaning views came from the book or the screenwriters, but there in there.).
