I'm glad I didn't read the book first, because I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I love Ford in this and Asa Butterfield continues to impress me. The visuals are great and the pace is good. Unfortunately I am writing this several months after I saw it.
But I will watch it again and give a more in depth review.
