Not a bad kids (although rated M) sci-fi film, but the ending is certainly heavy-handed! Ford & Kingsley are mostly wasted in their roles, but Butterfield is good as Ender. I wish their was more back-story - why was Earth attacked? Why are they training children from such are early age? Who exactly are the enemy? Why is Ender such a strategic genius? Some nice CGI & action scenes, but the computer games/dreams were pretty unnecessary.
Good effort, but definitely no 'Star Wars'!
