Review of Ender's Game (2013) by Dmitry F — 14 Apr 2014
Now this one was a jewel. For one there are too few even mediocre space movies not to mention good ones. For two it has a plot and it's fun to watch. For three the movie does resemble a boot camp (and I was in one), yes the Sergeant punishing with push-ups is hilarious (I guess that's political correctness) but in general, the atmosphere, the feeling of being alone and against all others which is being artificially instituted were greatly portrayed.
This movie forces you to read the book (there is a whole series by the way) and they say the book is much more powerful.
