Review of End of Watch (2012) by Blake W — 23 Feb 2014
A true win for David Ayer, End of Watch strikes with intense realism as well as incredible acting. A beautiful script keeps the piece light which causes harder blows when the time comes, as well as the chemistry between the two prominent stars Gyllenhaal and Pena.
This film knows how to keep you attached to its every breath, with the documentary-style filming only bringing you closer to the story, characters and setting. An incredible film that truely exprsses that hardships endured by our heroic watchmen.
