Review of End of Watch (2012) by Kyle M — 01 Jun 2014
DAYUM! That was a really intense ride. Great cinematography for sure with some good writing, acting, direction and so on. Sometimes it feels like a documentary film, but then we are drawn back into the personal stories of these two young LAPD officers working the streets.
It is a bit of a roller coaster going up and down and back and forth between deeper personal bonds formed by these two cops and then the intense hell they must confront together, which is the basis of their bond.
It's definitely a brother in arms type of story. It's a tough film for certain, but I appreciate the grit of it, as it doesn't seem to pull any punches.
