Review of End of Watch (2012) by Matthew E — 29 May 2013
Whilst Gyllenhaal and Pena both give great performances, its impossible to ignore the film's weaknesses. A lazy script and poor directing make for a frustrating 1 hour and fifty minutes. It's hard to explain how such an uninspired take on life in south central Los Angeles has received so much praise.
