Review of End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones (2003) by Christopher A — 11 Jul 2008
Tells this group of Queens misfits' story both objectively and poignantly, pulling no punches, but avoiding outright condemnations (Johnny's "God bless President Bush" at the R&R Hall of Fame induction ceremony managed that all by itself).
Even taking into consideration the group's shuffling through two bassists and three drummers, it's something of a miracle that the band stayed as solid as it did.
