Overlooked Arnold flick is actually pretty good. Not only are their some very creepy moments and some nasty ones too, but, you get to see Arnold play against type as a flawed and bitter alcoholic who's turned his back on God after the death of his wife and child.
Gabriel Byrne induces some effective chills as Satan and the underrated Peter Hyams moves the action nicely and provides strong atmosphere.
