Review of Enchanted April (1991) by Eileen T — 31 Dec 2008
I love this movie, it's just so beautiful, and strikes such a chord. Every scene could be turned into a painting. There was just so much love in this movie, not just romantic love, but the love that is in friendships, and a sort of filial love between aging parents and their children.
The scene with Lawrance, Molina, and Plowright close to the end, is such a sweet example of the last. All in all just a sweet, gentle and, yes, enchanting, movie.
