Review of Enchanted (2007) by Zack S — 17 Aug 2011

I was quite surprised with Enchanted. I personally think calling it a 'chick flick' is rather ignorant of someone to say. It really is a fun, magical, and highly entertaining adventure of a film that everyone should enjoy.

It's a great parody of classic Disney fairy tales. This movie also has a really charming performance from Amy Adams and the rest of the cast isn't too bad either. My only real complaint with the film is that in the end it becomes the film it's trying to spoof rather than put a more unique twist on the whole genre.

That being said though, I still thought this was a really good movie. I especially thought the musical sequences were well done. I also really liked the brilliant cameos. They were a nice surprise!
