This is such a sweet and charming film it's hard to wipe the smile off your face. If you are a classic Disney fan then you will find more than a few things in here to delight you. Whilst sending up the old Disney structures and characters it pushes this without being too over the top or obvious.
The characters are over the top and storybook like but the acting grounds them rather well and because of the superb performance from Amy Adams, the amusing Marsden and the evil Sarandon this film works.
The songs and choreography are hilarious and the scene in central park was so well done. Yes it's a little sappy, a little corny but it's oh so much fun to watch. This isn't just one for kids and any Disney fan should check it out.
