Review of Empire Records (1995) by Julia G — 21 Oct 2008
I do enjoy what's on offer here but it all feels like a rip off of Clerks and Dazed and Confused. Not a heap of laughs or any really slick writing here, just some fun turns by a good little cast. Although this film purely cements in my mind that working in a record store is the best job in the world, I miss those times :(.
