Review of Empire Records (1995) by Lau W — 24 Mar 2009

It was so utterly refreshing to rewatch this movie after such a long time. I didnt recall it causing such a big impact on me but it did. It was fluffy and goofy and rebellious all at once reminding me of how angsty we can be when we are in our teens.

Loved the soundtrack...Gin Blossoms was a pleasant blast from the past...that brought back such good memories...

It is a great painting of life in the 90s when going to the store to buy a cd was classic...and hanging out there was cool...
