Review of Empire Records (1995) by Salvador R — 21 Jul 2009
Enjoyed the ridiculous Rex Manning video and a few lines here and there. However, most of the rest just dwells in cliches, the film takes shortcuts to elicit emotion, and more often than not, the comedy comes off as odd rather than funny.
I probably would have enjoyed this in high school, but not so much all these years later.
