Review of Empire of the Sun (1987) by Chris C — 24 Dec 2008
Easily Spielberg's greatest, it's powerful and emotional, it gives you a look at WWII that is oft overlooked. Christian Bale's performance was incredible given his age. I would recommend this movie to anybody.
The only downfall to this movie is it's sheer size and length.
