Simply the best movie Spielberg ever made. When I think he, or Christian Bale weren't even nominated for an Oscar for this, I wonder how legitimate the "Academy Awards" really is. Christian is just unbelievable in this. At the age of 13 he was able to carry a movie this big on his shoulders and do it brilliantly. His very first freakin' movie!!! If anyone ever deserved an Oscar, this kid did.
Regardless of the Academy's blatant disregard for the film, it's absolutely fantastic in every way.
