Excellent movie, even over 20 years later. Hard to think that it was pretty much Christian Bale's first movie. His character is the most annoying child ever, and John Malkovich is such a self-serving jerk.
Seems like that guy always plays the same character...? Anyway, when I saw this many years ago, the only thing I could remember was feeling really sad when the Japanese boy gets shot, and how gross it would have been to have to eat fruit with blood on it.
