Steven Spielberg is the man ,i mean every now and then he does things like nuking a fridge(Indiana jones) but he tells heart-felt ww2 tales like no one else especially through eyes of kids. His movies always have great characters like Basie(John Malkovich).
I think this movie is very underrated , it does not show a lot of horrors of ww2 like in Schindler's List but it a very good movie and bale does a great job.
