Review of Empire of the Sun (1987) by Sayer F — 05 Aug 2013
Personally my favorite film by Spielberg. A beautifully filmed epic with great acting, especially from young Christian Bale, who has gone down to be one of the best actors alive. Sadly, Empire of the Sun is underrated and overshadowed by Spielberg's many overrated films.
