If you're in a movie that has John Malkovich as a lead character AND is directed by Steven Spielberg, you need to have your shit together. A then-young Christian Bale OWNED this film. How you pull that off with the 'competition' he had in this film just shows that his ability has been there from the beginning, and he's only gotten better.
