Review of Empire of the Sun (1987) by Alrashed, E — 25 Apr 2010
A sign of the true acting talent of Christian Bale as a young boy. To act under Steven Spielberg's direction is a great start to any career, and it really lifted Bale's career into the stardom he has reached.
The film itself, is passionate, and powerfully portrayed by young Bale, John Malkovich, Nigel Havers, and Joe Pantoliano. Thorougly worth a watch.
