Review of Empire of the Sun (1987) by Hannah H — 19 Sep 2010
Although slow at times, this film tells and incredible and fulfilling story of finding family and friends in wartime. Spielberg takes the horrors of war, and makes them innocently disturbing, beautiful, and adventurous as seen through the eyes of a child.
