Review of Emelie (2016) by Collin R — 25 Apr 2016

I had good expectations for this one, a different twist on the home invasion genre, but I think I put it to much high. The movie is slow on creating the tension but when it comes to the climax scene everyhing stumbles apart.

Bolger does a nice job of a maniac ex-mom ex-nanny but the plot is filled with holes (including a dumb backup story) and have some stupid scenes - damn that trade scene - on it. A little thriller with empty horror.
