Review of Elysium (2013) by Kgardnerxx — 12 Aug 2013

I really, really wanted to love this movie, but I didn't. It was predictable. The personal storyline of Damon's character seemed like it was borrowed from another movie that I've seen too many times and can recount from memory.

The villains are cut outs without any depth creating no interest. It seemed like they were there more to move the plot along rather than be an actual character. And I was so looking forward to this movie too.

Maybe that's what makes me so sad about writing this review. It looked like it had such potential but wound up being just an inch deep.
