Perhaps the biggest disappointment in this rather underwhelming summer season if only because the hope was so high that "Elysium" would rescue me from such a movie-purgatory that is the summer of 2013.
Alas, in the in end, the characters were completely underdeveloped, the social commentary was bland if not spoon fed to us, and the overall production value was rather unimpressive. I felt like I was watching the WWF.
