Review of Elysium (2013) by Drew S — 06 Mar 2015
Neill Blomkamp brings some good ideas about the futuristic society into Elysium. Matt Damon delivers a solid performance as a man living on a ruined Earth embarking on a mission to the planet Elysium. However, it doesn't make up for the choppy action, underdeveloped script, and the forgettable supporting cast led by a wasted Jodie Foster.
Not to mention Sharlto Copley giving the most over-the-top performance as the villain.
