I really struggled with this one. I love the gritty realism of this movie, and liked the story, I just wasn't convinced by Matt Damon in a SciFi!
There is a very strong political statement within the movie (which doesn't detract from the story) about the rich and privileged needing to share with those that do not have.
Jodie Foster was brilliant.
