Why does Blomkamp assume that when rich people leave a city/state/country that the world descends into or can't redeem itself from chaos? Essentially this is A Bug's Life with the bugs being the earthbound folks and the grasshoppers as similarly amoral but less well-rounded automotons.
Ridiculous premise and even more ridiculous action scenes borrowed from every movie you've already seen.
