Review of Elysium (2013) by Bob L — 09 May 2014
Thinly veiled political statement on immigration: if America will just open the borders everything will be wonderful. It's amazing to see that in the year 2154 people are still using cars left over from 2010 and that in all the squalor of a dysfunctional Los Angeles the internet still functions.
Performances by the cast is good but the political overtones ruin the movie.
