Review of Elysium (2013) by Sanal R — 18 Jul 2014

I was looking forward to this, but found my head wandering away from the plot, as it puts the viewer into situation where you dont even know the characters, and so you dont really care what happens to them.

But what really baffles me is why the situation ever arose in the first place, as you have zero information on what happened before the time of the movie. Was there a war, were there nukes involved, is Earth even habitable elsewhere? All these things, and many more, go unanswered.
