Review of Elysium (2013) by Kenneth G — 27 Nov 2014

I'm a big fan of Neill Blomkamp, but I will go ahead and say that Elysium is flawed in many ways. First, there's too much slow motion in the action sequences. The characters are forgettable, and while the story is unique, if you analyze it, it's pretty much District 9.

5. However, thanks to Neill Blomkamps beautiful directing and Sharlto Copley's entertaining performance, it's more than enough (at least for me) to make it a solid Sci Fi film.
