Austin Butler's performance is one of the top 10 male performances of all time. I know what I'm talking about because I have seen them all. The movie itself was a little bit of a letdown. It didn't feel like a movie.
It felt more like a docu-drama. However, the musical performances and the superb, slick editing made the 2.5-hour movie seem half as long.
