I grew up in the 50s and 60s loving Elvis, when the 70s rolled around I didn’t really care too much for his capes and big lapels and had moved past the music…. Also I had read that some of the reviews from the critics were so so at best so I wasn’t expecting much even though when I watched the previews I was taken how much Austin personified Elvis… One thing I have learned when the expectations are low you have a better chance of being surprised and oh my God was I surprised ~what a fabulous movie and tribute.
